Hey there! Chris here from Aeva AI receptionist for Healthcare
We’re currently setting up the new Aeva HQ, which I cannot be more pumped about.

I’ve already had 49 meetings booked since the start of the year with clinic owners who are exploring just how much Aeva can assist them to never miss another patient call again.
This follows exactly what I predicted for 2026. AI receptionists are becoming a necessity in clinics to provide the best customer service possible and never lose a new patient again.
That brings me to my next point, which I am most excited about. Our vision with Aeva is to build an ‘always on’ communication platform not only for answering calls, but also for making them.
Next week, we are releasing the BIGGEST update yet to Aeva: The ability to make AI calls to patients. We’re calling it Aeva Outbound.
Aeva Outbound - What you need to know
Next week, we will be releasing two outbound call types for Aeva customers to explore.
Call type 1: Past Patients Check Ins
listen to an example call here
This will allow your AI receptionist to call patients who visited recently to check in on them and offer a follow-up session if needed.
Call type 2: Practitioner Sick Day Rescheduling
listen to an example call here
With a click of a button, your AI will call and reschedule patients when their practitioner is unavailable.
The system will be released in early access next week, and Aeva users interested will need to request access before it is available in their account. (a seperate email will be sent with the exact instructions on how to access this when we launch)
And yeah, we are including Aeva Outbound in the same inbound call plans that users already have. At no extra cost. Against our advisor’s many recommendations 😅
Clinics are seeing MASSIVE changes using AI
Bryce has been with Aeva for a while now and is a leader in his field, focusing on optimising his clinic in every way possible.
He set up his AI receptionist 5 months ago as the first point of contact for every call and trusted the system to do the heavy lifting.
The result?
His appointment book is consistently full, and his full-time receptionist role has been reduced to just one hour of admin per day. That’s a saving of $50,000+ per year, without sacrificing patient experience.
Jenna, another Aeva user’s story looks a little different. Before Aeva, her receptionist spent most of the day tied to the phone. Now, that same role has completely transformed.
Instead of handling repetitive cancellations, rescheduling and answering questions over the phone. Her receptionist now focuses on marketing, social media, and lead follow-up, driving new patient enquiries and converting them into bookings. She’s also finally free to greet patients properly in person, without having to apologise for being stuck on a call.
Same person.
Just a far better use of their time.
When people hear “outbound calls,” they often imagine pushy sales or awkward scripts.
That’s not what this is.
In healthcare, outbound should feel like what great clinics already want to do, but rarely have time for.
It’s the check-in after treatment.
The gentle reminder when a follow-up was recommended but never booked.
The “how are you feeling now?” that turns into better outcomes and stronger patient trust.
Aeva Outbound isn’t about pushy sales calls.
It’s about closing the care loop.
The reality is this: most clinics don’t lose patients because of bad care. They lose them because life gets busy, calls don’t get made, and check ins slip through the cracks.
Aeva now changes that.
It allows clinics to be proactive, consistent, and human at scale without adding pressure to already stretched teams. Patients feel looked after, practitioners get better adherence to care plans, and clinics see fuller diaries as a natural by-product.
This is where healthcare communication is heading, and we can’t wait to bring it to you.
Every call counts,
