It’s no longer enough for AI receptionists to be functional they must become relational. This means emotional intelligence built in from the ground up. Systems that can read between the lines of a patient’s voice, respond with real empathy, and create trust in the moments that matter most.
The way they’re greeted in that first few seconds can shape their entire experience.
I believe AI should never feel robotic, transactional, or cold especially in healthcare. What we’re building now is the next frontier: AI that feels intuitive, emotionally present, and deeply human, without ever pretending to be something it’s not.
And the only way to get there is obsessively work with the people who run clinics every day. To listen. To learn. To ship fast and improve faster.
